Community Update and Governance Proposal: AirDAO Transition & AI Agent Pivot

Introduction:

As of today, AirDAO is undergoing a major transformation to remain competitive and relevant in the evolving blockchain landscape. The core focus of the proposals detailed below, is shifting AirDAO towards an AI-driven financial automation ecosystem built around AI Agents (AIA) running on and beyond the AirDAO Network. This will allow the AirDAO team to leverage all existing infrastructure, for the purpose of creating new, high-utility agents within the ecosystem. The transition to an Agentic focused roadmap, will be executed systematically through a series of governance votes, restructuring of the AirDAO Council and Team, and a new economic model for $AMB. 

The Key Goals of This Transition Include: 

1. To Maintain the integrity of the AirDAO network while evolving its purpose.
2. Rebrand $AMB and integrate it into the AI Agents economy to ensure long-term utility and demand.
3. Launch a new AI-driven token (AIA) with a fair transition model for existing holders.
4. Address liquidity challenges and price stability through structured incentives and buybacks.
5. Streamline governance by dissolving the DAO and transitioning to a more agile decision-making structure.

Part 1: Governance Votes & Execution Plan

To ensure transparency and structured execution on this strategic pivot, a series of votes will be held within the community to determine the future direction of the AirDAO Ecosystem. This is a unique opportunity for token holders, builders, and community members alike to voice their opinion on the future of AirDAO. 

Vote 1: Change of Project Direction

• Proposal: Transition from a general-purpose L1 blockchain to a specialized AI-driven financial automation network.
• Outcome: If approved, the team will begin executing the AI Agent (AIA) pivot and aligning all technical and operational resources accordingly.

Vote 2: Price Protection & OTC Buyback

• Proposal: Allocate $650K to an OTC buyback program for large AMB holders (10M+ AMB eligibility) at a fixed rate of $0.0001 per AMB.This structure would be repeated at varying buy back rates over time, at an incrementally lowered price such that this is not a ‘one-off’ decision, but rather an open opportunity for the community to act upon over time (example: Buyback 3 months after first one, at 0.0002 AMB, and so forth).. 
• Purpose: This mechanism provides a structured exit for large holders to prevent massive dumps while stabilizing price action.
• Duration: The buyback funds will be locked for 3 months, with transactions structured to avoid sudden market shocks.

Vote 3: Council Dissolution & DAO Transition

• Proposal: Dissolve the current AirDAO Council and transition decision-making into a temporary centralized leadership under a transition CEO (Igor) to ensure faster execution.
• Rationale: A DAO structure is too slow and ineffective for the speed at which we need to operate in the AI space. Governance can be reintroduced in a structured way after the transition is complete.

Vote 4: Transition from General L1 to AI Agent L1

• Proposal: Rebrand AirDAO into a niche AI-focused L1 where AI Agents can operate autonomously for Human resources, administration, software systems management, DeFi, token-contract creation, yield farming, and social media automation (among other areas of focus). Note: The future is extremely bright for the age of agents, as more and more models come on the market and more data becomes available. In the coming ten years, it is expected that AI Agents will transform most of the known white-collar economic system! 
• Execution: This will involve core blockchain updates, branding changes, and ecosystem development.

The ultimate goal of all of these votes is to guarantee that the AirDAO Ecosystem and all of the relevant stakeholders remain relevant in the fast evolving world of Web3. These proposals are being put forward because the current leadership of AirDAO believes it is time to pivot in the interests of the community and the future of the ecosystem. 

Part 2: The Role of $AMB in the AI Agent Economy

One of the critical factors in this transition is ensuring $AMB retains real-world value in the newly designed agent-first AirDAO Ecosystem. Instead of simply swapping tokens as the base layer L1 gas token, $AMB will be rebranded to function at the core of agent-economy:

•  $AMB will be required to power all deployed AI Agents. Demand for AMB comes from both Agent activities and Agent deployments. 
• Users will stake $AMB to unlock AI automation services. Core AI services built for the AirDAO ecosystem will be discounted or made more accessible through a stake in the $AMB Token. 
• Node operators will Continue to Receive AMB rewards, ensuring network security. AirDAO will still remain its own blockchain, and as such will require node operates to continue validating new blocks. 
• Transaction fees for AI interactions will be paid in $AMB. All AI interactions on and beyond AirDAO will be done using $AMB. 
• Users who lock AMB will receive 10X in $AIA tokens over 3 years. With the goal of pioneering an agentic-first ecosystem, AMB token holders will be positioned to optimally benefit from all ecosystem-wide agent tokens deployed. 

The goal of the upgrade to $AMB is to ensure that both existing and future holders have an incentive to stake rather than dump $AMB, reducing sell pressure and ultimately leading to token utility through agentic actions. 

Part 3: Operational & Financial Adjustments

In line with the proposed changes to the direction, product, and governance focus of AirDAO, there will be necessary operational and financial adjustments. These include: 

Restructuring the Team

• Last month: 14 team members were let go.
• Next month: Another 8 will be cut to streamline operations and extend the runway.
• Goal: Reduce monthly burn while ensuring we have the core competencies required for the AI pivot.

Exchange Listings & Market Strategy

• $AMB will remain tradable on existing exchanges (excluding Binance) while the core team pursues new listings.
• $AIA will be launched as a fresh AI-driven token on priority exchanges first (KuCoin, Gate.io, OKX, MEXC), with plans to return to other exchanges later on. This launch will be coordinated with the launch of agents on AirDAO. 
• Liquidity strategy: For both $AMB and $AIA the core team will work market makers to ensure steady price action and prevent dumps as the ecosystem expands and pivots towards AI Agents. 

Community & Messaging Strategy

Community Communication: 

Going forward, the AirDAO team will be actively moderating community discussions to ensure productive conversations centered on the future determined by the AirDAO community. Toxic behavior, racism, and baseless FUD will not be tolerated. The ultimate goal is for the community to shift its focus to building rather than gambling expectations.

Part 4: Roadmap and Execution Timeline

📅 In The Coming Month:

• Publish Official Community Announcement explaining transition and upcoming votes.
• Deploy AMB Locking Smart Contract for users to stake AMB for AIA.
• Secure $650K buyback funds and prepare OTC execution framework.

📅 Within 2 Months:

• Launch governance votes (Project Direction, Buyback, Council Dissolution, L1 Transition).
• Begin investor outreach for AI-focused funding partners.

📅 After Governance Voting within 4 Months:

• Initiate exchange discussions for relisting under new AI branding.
• Start technical development of AI Agent testnet.
• Secure AI partnerships to support real-world use cases.

📅 Within 8 months of the AI Agent Pivot (By the end of the 2025 Calendar Year):

• Launch AI Agents testnet (pending documentation and product review from community).
• List AIA on Tier-2 exchanges.
• Begin marketing and ecosystem growth efforts.

📅 Within One Year of the AI Agent Pivot:

• Expand AI use cases.
• Grow network effects through adoption incentives.
• Push for Tier-1 exchange relisting (Binance, Coinbase, etc.).
