AirDAO Roadmap Proposal for 2025: MAKE AIRDAO GREAT AGAIN

This past year has been fast-paced, and focused on the development and delivery of the Starfleet Core Products: Harbor ($HBR), Kosmos ($KOS), and Astra ($AST). These three products provide a foundation for a robust token ecosystem, and core DeFi primitives for the AirDAO ($AMB) ecosystem to thrive. In addition, Council elections have been held, and AirDAO remains a highly performative and decentralized DAO managed Layer 1 ecosystem. It has been a successful year in many facets, but one that also has created a foundation for the years to come: 

In 2025 AirDAO proposed to focus its attention outward, embrace its identity as the Dark Horse L1, and work to grow the user base and liquidity flows of its ecosystem to all time highs. With optimal macro positioning, a low market cap and an ecosystem that has survived three cycles, AirDAO is better positioned than ever to break out in crypto as the real Dark Horse of 2025. 

Priority #1: The Best Wallet in Crypto. Make AirDAO User Friendly!

The AirDAO Wallet and Mobile App is live on Apple and GooglePlay stores. Yet with new users coming into crypto, it has never been so important to create a seamless and easy-to-use on-ramp to the world of Web3. Starting in 2025, we propose that the AirDAO core team prioritize the AirDAO wallet, such that it becomes one of the most user-friendly and competitive applications in crypto. Prepaid transactions, stablecoin liquidity, easy bridging, staking, trading, and a robust system of on and off ramps, will make the AirDAO wallet best in class for hundreds of millions of new users. 

Our proposal is simple: Make AirDAO easy to access, and give users the opportunity to leverage the benefits of Web3, with no strings attached!

Priority #2: User-Optimized Products. Make AirDAO Users Rich!

In continuation of the priority set for growing the AirDAO user base, the AirDAO Core team propose to build products that enhance user engagement, experience, or token monetization. Airdao is not competing against other chains as much as it is competing against web2, offchain, and legacy systems - dealing with money, finance, and data. Broadly, these products will make it lucrative to launch tokens in AirDAO, connect AirDAO products with real world issues, and pioneer entirely novel and gamified ways of using Web3. Some of these products include:

A Token generator and Meme Coin Launch Pad. 

Bridge Restaking and Yield Infrastructure

A robust Oracle Infrastructure for Off-Chain Data. 

A focus on Chain Abstraction and connecting AirDAO to other dApps and L1s.

Priority #3: Play to Earn Games on AirDAO. Make AirDAO Users Entertained!

One flagship Web3 game is proposed for 2025. While games take significant time to develop, (Moolah) is already quite advanced. The game is a farmville of crypto, designed to reward frequent and recurring users, with built in incentives and connections to the core AirDAO ecosystem. It’s the first game the council would like to launch on AirDAO, and one that the team wants to market and make successful throughout 2025.

Priority #4: DePIN Token Farming (Treasurehunt). Recruit more users to make AirDAO Great!

With better connectivity than ever to the physical world, AirDAO is in the early stages of developing a real-world DePIN engagement dApp for normies around the world, leveraging crypto rewards and incentives. Think PokemonGo but on AirDAO! This proposed dApp could launch in Q3 or Q4 of 2025, but will be a unique concept in Web3. If approved we have high expectations and hope you join us in providing feedback, testing and engagement when if this product launches.

Priority #5: DeFi Improvements Beyond StarFleet: Make Money Abundant in AirDAO!

2025 also holds the promise of bringing a suite of DeFi improvements to the already existing Starfleet products suite. This includes: restaking of external assets on harbor, deploying external assets on Astra,  bridges to other L1 ecosystems, partnerships with dex screener and/or other external DeFi trackers and the continuous improvements of  trading charts for Astra DEX.


The AirDAO team is committed to guaranteeing a P2P Marketplace for all liquidity needs, as well as an AirDAO native stable coin to be used by future users. The ultimate goal? To make liquidity and cash flows a common and recurring theme of the AirDAO ecosystem.

Wagmi Library Integration: A key upgrade is in progress, and the Wagmi library is being integrated to streamline Web3 functionality.

Bug Fixes for DEX and Kosmos: The mobile app team is actively working on resolving bugs that have been reported on both the DEX and Kosmos platforms. 

Single-Side Liquidity Bug Fixes: Progress continues on Astra DEX with bug fixes focused on single-side liquidity. 

P2P Service: A new P2P service is in active development. The platform's frontend is being worked on, emphasizing offering users a seamless experience.

Testing and Feature Development: The Harbor staking platform is currently being tested on the production environment. 

New features: Two new staking features for $HBR are in development, which will soon provide enhanced staking opportunities for users.

Backend and Contract Connection: Significant progress is being made in connecting the backend and contract layers to the frontend for the Moolah platform, allowing for smoother operations and improved functionality.

Bug Fixes and Documentation Preparation: The tech team is working on bug fixes for the product dashboard. Additionally, they are preparing detailed documentation for the base logic in the analytics dashboard, ensuring future scalability.

Contract Logic and DB Service Update: The Claim Reward page is undergoing significant improvements, with the contract logic being finalized. Furthermore, updates are being made to the database (DB) service to ensure users can claim rewards without hitches.

Wagmi Library Integration: We’re making significant progress on integrating the Wagmi library into our ecosystem. This integration will enhance the overall user experience, allowing seamless interaction with blockchain features through a highly efficient and well-optimized framework.

Mobile KOSMOS: We’re excited to announce that the KOSMOS bond marketplace is now available in the mobile app, with the production launch completed on 13/09/2024. Users can now access KOSMOS bonds on the go!

All contract ownerships have successfully been transferred to multisig for improved security and decentralization. This major step will give the community greater control over AirDAO’s governance.

Single-Sided Liquidity Feature: We are close to completing this much-anticipated feature, with only one unexpected bug left to resolve. Once launched, this feature will enable liquidity for $AST.token.

P2P Service: Front-end development for the P2P service is actively underway, promising a more decentralized trading experience soon.

The core liquid staking development and bug fixing are finished, and we’ve made significant improvements to MultiSig, adding all the necessary features for seamless liquid staking management.

We are preparing to launch liquid staking in the production environment soon, with two staking features for $HBR in development. Stay tuned for these exciting updates!

Our design team is working on the Moolah layout, while the development team is connecting the backend to the frontend.

We have created a solution to collect statistics data for Harbor.

Documentation for the base analytics dashboard is in preparation, ensuring that users have full transparency and access to key data.

As of 16/09/2024, staking on Star Fleet has officially closed.
