At this moment, AirDAO stands at a crossroads. It’s clear we need to pivot our strategy to remain relevant in the ever changing Web3 space. Today, we’re sharing a proposal that could redefine our path forward: a transition from a general-purpose L1 blockchain to a specialized AI-driven financial automation network.


What we’re proposing is a fundamental shift in our identity. We want to carve out a niche as a specialized network powered by AI, focused on automating and optimizing financial processes. At the center of this vision are AI agents and the $AIA token, a framework that will drive a new economy within AirDAO. AI agents will be built to execute complex tasks across domains like HR, administration, software management, DeFi, token creation, yield farming, and social media automation, with room to expand as the technology grows. The $AIA token will be a token needed to interact with these AI agents.

We are not abandoning what we’ve built; $AMB will still play a pivotal role as a gas and transaction token on the network. The goal is to lean into a future where AI and blockchain converge to create something truly transformative.

The initial roadmap will be restructured to only include the following products:

Vote window: Mar 6th,10 AM – Mar 10th, 10AM


AST token (price will be from our dex, 1 ast = n AMB)

HBR token (price will be from our dex, 1 hbr = n AMB)

Staked HBR->AMB (locked AMB in HBR pool with 35% APY)

The pivot to an AI Agent-driven network will require us to realign every aspect of AirDAO, including our technical resources, our operational focus, and our long-term vision. A New Chapter for AirDAO: Proposing a Pivot to an AI-Driven Roadmap

1. AirDAO’s Pivot to an AI-Focused Layer-1

AirDAO is shifting from a general-purpose Layer-1 blockchain to an AI-centric Layer-1 focused on AI Agents.

This pivot introduces a new token, $AIA, to drive AI-related utilities while keeping $AMB as the core network token.

The goal is to attract AI-focused investors, developers, and users.

AI-driven automation and on-chain AI Agents are a high-growth sector.

By specializing in AI, AirDAO aims to differentiate itself and increase adoption.

The AI narrative could renew interest in AirDAO, bringing in new partnerships and utility.

Will existing projects on AirDAO ($AST, $HBR, etc.) be affected?

No, existing projects will continue their own roadmaps.

Over time, these projects may integrate with AI-driven features, but they remain independent.

2. $AMB vs. $AIA – Understanding Their Roles

No. $AMB remains the native token for transaction fees, staking, and security.

$AIA is an additional token for AI-driven incentives and utilities.

Users must lock/stake $AMB to earn $AIA over a proposed 3-year period.

All AI Agent transactions will still require $AMB as gas.

This creates demand for $AMB while introducing new AI-driven incentives.

The design ensures that $AIA enhances $AMB’s value rather than replacing it.

More AI activity should drive more demand for both tokens.

Will there be a 1:1 swap between $AMB and $AIA?

No direct swap. $AIA will be earned by locking $AMB.

$AIA will have its own tokenomics, which will be announced later.

Will AIA operate independently in the future?

$AIA will initially run on AirDAO’s network.

Multi-chain possibilities may be explored later.

By locking/staking $AMB in a smart contract for a set period (proposed as 3 years).

$AIA will be distributed gradually over this period.

You will receive 10x the locked amount in $AIA, distributed over 3 years.

Details about vesting, withdrawal rules, and minimum stake amounts will be provided in the official tokenomics.

Holding $AMB alone does not grant $AIA; only locked $AMB earns $AIA.

The proposal does not specify a minimum yet.

This will be confirmed when the staking smart contract is finalized.

How can I unstake from older pools (Harbor/Hera)?

If you staked in Harbor’s Liquid Staking, an unstake button is available at star-fleet.io/harbor/liquid-staking.

If you used an older pool with a lock-up, check if the vesting period has ended.

How do I participate in governance votes?

Typically, DAO votes require you to hold or stake $AMB in a self-custody wallet (like MetaMask or AirDAO web wallet).

If your $AMB is on an exchange (e.g., KuCoin), you may not be able to vote unless the exchange supports governance (rare).

What governance proposals are being discussed?

Dissolution of the current governance council.

Governance votes are expected within the next 2 months.

Specific details on snapshots and voting mechanics will be announced.

What is the purpose of the $650K OTC buyback?

Designed to provide a structured exit for large holders (10M+ $AMB).

Helps prevent large dumps on the open market, which could stabilize price action.

Why would large holders sell at a lower OTC price?

Some may prefer guaranteed liquidity instead of selling on exchanges with high slippage.

The buyback prevents a market-wide dump and helps maintain stability.

Will the OTC buyback price change with the market?

The proposal mentions multiple rounds of buybacks at different prices over time (e.g., $0.0001, then $0.0002).

These prices may be adjusted based on community feedback and market conditions.

By requiring $AMB locks for $AIA rewards, circulating supply is reduced.

If the AI pivot attracts more users, this could create additional demand for $AMB.

The buyback program aims to prevent major price crashes.

The AirDAO Council Is Announcing An Overhaul of the AirDAO Ecosystem To Focus on AI Agents. Your Input Will Help Determine the Future of $AMB and the focus of the AirDAO Ecosystem!

As of today, AirDAO is undergoing a major transformation to remain competitive and relevant in the evolving blockchain landscape. The core focus of the proposals detailed below, is shifting AirDAO towards an AI-driven financial automation ecosystem built around AI Agents (AIA) running on and beyond the AirDAO Network. This will allow the AirDAO team to leverage all existing infrastructure, for the purpose of creating new, high-utility agents within the ecosystem. The transition to an Agentic focused roadmap, will be executed systematically through a series of governance votes, restructuring of the AirDAO Council and Team, and a new economic model for $AMB. 

The Key Goals of This Transition Include: 

To Maintain the integrity of the AirDAO network while evolving its purpose.

Rebrand $AMB and integrate it into the AI Agents economy to ensure long-term utility and demand.

Launch a new AI-driven token (AIA) with a fair transition model for existing holders.

Address liquidity challenges and price stability through structured incentives and buybacks.

Streamline governance by dissolving the DAO and transitioning to a more agile decision-making structure.

Part 1: Governance Votes & Execution Plan

To ensure transparency and structured execution on this strategic pivot, a series of votes will be held within the community to determine the future direction of the AirDAO Ecosystem. This is a unique opportunity for token holders, builders, and community members alike to voice their opinion on the future of AirDAO. 

Proposal: Transition from a general-purpose L1 blockchain to a specialized AI-driven financial automation network.

Outcome: If approved, the team will begin executing the AI Agent (AIA) pivot and aligning all technical and operational resources accordingly.

Proposal: Allocate $650K to an OTC buyback program for large AMB holders (10M+ AMB eligibility) at a fixed rate of $0.0001 per AMB.This structure would be repeated at varying buy back rates over time, at an incrementally lowered price such that this is not a ‘one-off’ decision, but rather an open opportunity for the community to act upon over time (example: Buyback 3 months after first one, at 0.0002 AMB, and so forth).. 

Purpose: This mechanism provides a structured exit for large holders to prevent massive dumps while stabilizing price action.

Duration: The buyback funds will be locked for 3 months, with transactions structured to avoid sudden market shocks.

Vote 3: Council Dissolution & DAO Transition

Proposal: Dissolve the current AirDAO Council and transition decision-making into a temporary centralized leadership under a transition CEO (Igor) to ensure faster execution.

Rationale: A DAO structure is too slow and ineffective for the speed at which we need to operate in the AI space. Governance can be reintroduced in a structured way after the transition is complete.

Vote 4: Transition from General L1 to AI Agent L1

Proposal: Rebrand AirDAO into a niche AI-focused L1 where AI Agents can operate autonomously for Human resources, administration, software systems management, DeFi, token-contract creation, yield farming, and social media automation (among other areas of focus). Note: The future is extremely bright for the age of agents, as more and more models come on the market and more data becomes available. In the coming ten years, it is expected that AI Agents will transform most of the known white-collar economic system! 

Execution: This will involve core blockchain updates, branding changes, and ecosystem development.

The ultimate goal of all of these votes is to guarantee that the AirDAO Ecosystem and all of the relevant stakeholders remain relevant in the fast evolving world of Web3. These proposals are being put forward because the current leadership of AirDAO believes it is time to pivot in the interests of the community and the future of the ecosystem. 

Part 2: The Role of $AMB in the AI Agent Economy

One of the critical factors in this transition is ensuring $AMB retains real-world value in the newly designed agent-first AirDAO Ecosystem. Instead of simply swapping tokens as the base layer L1 gas token, $AMB will be rebranded to function at the core of agent-economy:

 $AMB will be required to power all deployed AI Agents. Demand for AMB comes from both Agent activities and Agent deployments. 

Users will stake $AMB to unlock AI automation services. Core AI services built for the AirDAO ecosystem will be discounted or made more accessible through a stake in the $AMB Token. 

Node operators will Continue to Receive AMB rewards, ensuring network security. AirDAO will still remain its own blockchain, and as such will require node operates to continue validating new blocks. 

Transaction fees for AI interactions will be paid in $AMB. All AI interactions on and beyond AirDAO will be done using $AMB. 

Users who lock AMB will receive 10X in $AIA tokens over 3 years. With the goal of pioneering an agentic-first ecosystem, AMB token holders will be positioned to optimally benefit from all ecosystem-wide agent tokens deployed. 

The goal of the upgrade to $AMB is to ensure that both existing and future holders have an incentive to stake rather than dump $AMB, reducing sell pressure and ultimately leading to token utility through agentic actions. 

Part 3: Operational & Financial Adjustments

In line with the proposed changes to the direction, product, and governance focus of AirDAO, there will be necessary operational and financial adjustments. These include:

Goal: Reduce monthly burn while ensuring we have the core competencies required for the AI pivot.

$AMB will remain tradable on existing exchanges (excluding Binance) while the core team pursues new listings.

$AIA will be launched as a fresh AI-driven token on priority exchanges first (KuCoin, Gate.io, OKX, MEXC), with plans to return to other exchanges later on. This launch will be coordinated with the launch of agents on AirDAO. 

Liquidity strategy: For both $AMB and $AIA the core team will work market makers to ensure steady price action and prevent dumps as the ecosystem expands and pivots towards AI Agents. 

Going forward, the AirDAO team will be actively moderating community discussions to ensure productive conversations centered on the future determined by the AirDAO community. Toxic behavior, racism, and baseless FUD will not be tolerated. The ultimate goal is for the community to shift its focus to building rather than gambling expectations.
